Sarah’s Mom’s Strawberry Muffins
SARAH’S MOM’S STRAWBERRY MUFFINS
Sarah Townson is one of Downright Domestic’s Interior Designers. Here’s her mom’s homemade strawberry muffins that she always makes them to celebrate Canada Day.
Canada Day Strawberry Muffins
Beat together:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Blend together:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Mix wet and dry ingredients together with 1/4 cup milk. Add 2 cups of chopped fresh strawberries mixed with 1 tbsp sugar. Top with a sprinkling of sugar and/or chopped nuts. Bake 25 minutes at 375. Makes 18 large muffins.
